I'm curious whether people ever get faced with running internet ponzi schemes, these so-called HYIPs. What i'm saying is,
ReplyDeletethese are scams, but so commonplace, even having whole websites centered on keeping
track of them all! Nevertheless, you never hear about people getting charged with running these, even if
they create away with potentially huge amount of money.
Does the FBI (or whatever) do anything whatsoever about these or will they just let them
slide?. . I'm deeply interested in growing internet fraud which generally seems to have almost no consequence..

The FBI does keep up on some of these. And they will "charge" accordingly. The big problem is that most of these scams come and go so quickly, or change their names so quickly that it does become difficult to monitor. And yes, unfortunately, they are commonplace. That is why I spend so much time researching and will not put it on my site if it even looks like a scam. And if it is a scam, trust me, I will let everyone know.
